Cabanas @sun city is a beautiful property right next to a beautiful lake. However, the service soured our stay experience there. I've traveled across continents and came across wide range of service quality. But I must say that in terms of sheer lack of courtesy, cabana cafe staff beats everyone else in the world. Forget about staff greeting you when you enter the cafe area (for reasons best known to them, they always keep a long face), the lady at the entrance Catherine treats you with a hard look and cautions you that you can not come twice for breakfast. Why? Do we look like we're coming from a food starved country? Is this the way to treat a guest? When you ask the lady at the tea/coffee counter for additional tea bag, it's thrown towards you, not handed over gracefully to you. Like you're commiting a crime by asking for one more tea bag. Second and more worrying aspect is that this rude behavior is directed mostly to guests coming from India or asian countries. What is this arrogance about when most of cabana suncity economy depends on travelers from India. Awful and sheer lack of basic professionalism. My advice to the hotel manager to look into this in priority and fix the cafe staff behavior else the time is not far when this place will be shunned by asian visitors.
